About
PropertyClosets is built and run by a landlord who manages their own units. There is no investors page, no growth team and no enterprise sales department — there is an email address at the bottom of this page that a person reads.
A deposit dispute is not decided by who is telling the truth. It is decided by what can be shown. The landlord usually has the truth and nothing to show for it — a camera roll full of photos with no way to prove when they were taken or that nobody has touched them since.
The tools that solve that properly exist, and they were built for inspection companies: priced per unit, metered per report, sold to portfolios. If you own six doors, you are not the customer they are optimising for. So this is the same mechanism — server-recorded timestamps, real hashing, reports locked against everyone including their author — sized and priced for the person with six doors.
Built and run by one landlord. That means the person who answers your support email is the person who wrote the code, and when something is broken there is nobody to escalate it to.
It also means the honest limits on this site are genuinely ours to state: we do not do offline capture yet, we do not offer two-factor sign-in yet, and we do not promise a legal outcome, because we cannot. Those are written down rather than glossed, on the security page.
Email is the fastest route and it reaches the person who built this, not a queue. Bug reports, security reports, questions about whether the product suits your situation, and requests to delete your data all go to the same address.
PropertyClosets is the trading name used for this service.
Anyone can write a sincere paragraph. The sample report recomputes its own hash in your browser, and the pricing page has real numbers on it.
